Services and fees
Three kinds of session, clear prices
Every session lasts 50 minutes. You pay per session, with no subscription and no packages upfront.
Fees
Everyone starts with an introductory session. After that we meet at the practice or online, whichever suits you.
Introductory session
50 minutes, at the practice or online. We get to know each other, you tell me what brings you, and I tell you how we could work together.
€ 95
Session at the practice
50 minutes, in The Hague. Usually once a week, at a fixed time.
€ 115
Online session
50 minutes, by video call. For people outside The Hague, travelling, or short on time.
€ 115
Self-pay practice, so no GP referral needed. Dutch basic health insurance doesn't cover these sessions; some international plans do.
Payment and cancelling
Pay after each session
You get an invoice by email after each session and pay within 14 days. The invoice works for insurance claims.
Cancel up to 24 hours before
You can cancel or move a session free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts. Later cancellations are charged, because I can't offer that time to anyone else.
Questions about therapy and payment
How often do we meet?
Usually once a week, at a fixed time. As things improve, we can meet less often.
Can I mix sessions at the practice and online?
Yes. Many people come to the practice and join online when they're travelling or having a busy week.
Will my insurance pay for it?
Dutch basic insurance doesn't cover this practice, because it's self-pay. Some international health insurance plans do cover therapy with a psychologist; check your policy, and I'll give you an invoice you can submit.
A conversation is a good place to start
The introductory session costs € 95 and commits you to nothing.
